Mr. John Alexander Crombie, affectionately known as Jack to his friends and family, passed away on April 28, 2025.
Jack's contributions to the sport of curling were notable and long-lasting. In 1999, he was inducted into the Governor General’s Curling Club, a prestigious recognition of his dedicated service to the Canadian Branch Roy Caledonian Curling Club. His passion for the sport and his commitment to its growth led to the creation of Curling Quebec in 2001, where he served as president for two years. In recognition of his significant impact on the sport, Jack was also inducted into the Curling Quebec Hall of Fame.
