It was a tight battle on the curling ice in Cortina Milano on March 14, 2026. Team Canada looking to defend their 11-0 record in round robin play was taking on the two time champion team from the People's Republic of China. Team Canada is skipped by Governor General's Curling Club member Mark Ideson and Governor General's Curling Club member Collinda Joseph as the steady lead on the team.

The game went down to the wire, with 2.8 seconds left on the clock for Mark to throw his last stone, to give Canada a one point victory over China. The final score was 4-3.

The Paralympic champion Canadian team are: Mark Ideson, Jon Thurston, Ina Forrest and Collinda Joseph, supported by alternate Gilbert Dash and coaches Mick Lizmore and Dana Ferguson.
