The team scored the 8-ender during Highland Ladies Day League games on January 27, 2026, at the Highland Curling Club in Regina. During the 4th end, they had several rocks in the rings due to taking the opposition rocks out and being heavy on a couple of guards.  The opposing skip had a couple of misses and then skip Dorene Exner had to draw to the 8th foot to score 8. The front end swept it all the way, and it came to rest in the 4 foot.  All 8 ends were played with the final outcome of 12-6.  It was the first ever 8-ender for each member of the team.

The team members are Dorene Exner - Skip, Cheryl Camillo - Third, Bernadette McIntyre - Second and Lois Wong - Lead.

On February 10th at the Highland Curling Club, we were presented with an 8-Ender Certificate and pin from Curling Canada and the 50th anniversary pin from the Highland Curling Club.

Whether you are a seasoned player or new to curling, moments like these remind us why the sport is so special. They show how dedication and teamwork can lead to extraordinary results on the ice.
